Whether this is a first job, part–time job, or way to spend  retirement; teaching skiing or snowboarding is one of the best ways to enjoy the mountains and develop your own abilities.  Sharing your knowledge and experiences with your students and sharing their excitement as they master new skills is a challenging and rewarding experience.


No instructor experience required. We’ll teach you to instruct during our pre-season training program.


Work Schedule- Choose from: 

  • Friday Night (6:30-8:00 pm) and/or

  • Saturday (9:00am - 2:00pm) and/or

  • Sunday (9:00am-2:00pm)


Instructor/Cadet Benefits:

The Chaperone Program has a long and distinguished history within Lyon Ski School. Chaperones who work with us share a passion for snow sports and a desire to impact children’s lives positively. Working hand-in-hand with the instruction staff and administration, chaperones help teach key life lessons to youth made receptive by a shared love of the mountain environment.


Chaperone Benefits:​​

  • With a 7 week commitment, free bus transportation for 1 dependent child.
