Snowboarding Lessons Steven's Pass

Students learn to snowboard in a FUN, caring environment. All lesson and transportation packages are 7 weeks long. Classes are scheduled to begin the second week of January; Fridays – January 7, 2011, Saturdays – January 8, 2011 and Sundays- January 10, 2011. Classes run for 7 consecutive weeks with no holiday break and are scheduled to end the third week of February; Fridays – February 18, 2011, Saturdays – February 19, 2011 and Sundays – February 20, 2011. Lesson and Transportation packages include last day Fun Race, food and festivities.

Classes are formed by pace first, and then fine-tuned by age and friends requests. We understand that to learn the most in your lesson you need to move with a group of students who like to explore the mountain at the same pace you do. Instructors teach to every skill level individually, within the well-paced group.

4-Hour Lessons:

These full day snowboard lessons are available for snowboarders aged 8-11.

2-Hour Lessons:

Half day snowboard lessons are available.

SNOWBOARDERS: of all ages. Those participating in a school district program (see below) take lessons in the afternoon.

Young Child Class:

Younger children enjoy loving attention as they experience snow for the first time. These short classes are tailored to less ready 4-5 year olds, & insure a positive experience for the very young first time beginner. Classes are broken into 2, one-hour blocks strategically timed to allow you to get the older kids settled in class in the morning before your Young Child begins, pick everyone up for lunch as a family and finish in time for an afternoon nap or downtime before older brother’s or sister’s lessons end.

The 7 week session is paced to get Young Children on the chair by week 4 or 5 versus the 4 hour lessons for children the same ages paced to get on the chair the 1st or 2nd week.

Friday Night 1.5-Hour Lessons:

Snowboard under the lights in class then practice your skills and enjoy the night terrain until 10:00 pm. Great for families busy in other sports and activities or those wanting a cost effective way to enjoy the sport. Stevens Pass Midweek lift ticket pricing applies.
