Athletes may participate in the sanctioned Team Lyon race schedule ONLY. Attendance at races independently; outside that schedule without a Team Lyon coach in attendance, is unacceptable. Exceptions are Western Region, National and International competitions with prior knowledge of the Head Coach. Registration in the Mighty Mite and Junior programs includes coaching at 3 races. J3 races are: J3 Qualifier #1, J3 Qualifier #2 and J3 Finals. J1/2 races are: J1/2 Qualifier #1, J1/2 Qualifier #2 and Northwest Cup Finals. Junior athletes, in a pre-season meeting with the Head Coach, may determine that an extended race schedule is in their best interest. Attendance at races over 3, which are supported by Team Lyon coaches, will result in additional fees being required. Athletes will be billed $50 per day for each additional day of coaching. The fee applies to both training days and race days.
Refunds:
No refunds, except for injury with doctor's note. All refunds subject to $100 administrative fee. The 50% deposit is nonrefundable. Refunds will be processed after the last day of scheduled training for the season. Refund requests must be made prior to the last day of training.
Cancellations:
Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled as possible. Schedule changes will be communicated weekly via email. In the event we are unable to train at Stevens Pass for lack of snow, training may be moved to other ski areas. Additional expenses associated with travel to other ski areas for training (i.e. lift tickets, lodging, gas) is the responsibility of each athlete. Sessions may be rescheduled on snow or as dryland training.
